Mixing Colors – Lights

Additive color mixing is a method of creating color by mixing different light colors. Shades of red, green and blue are the most common primary colors used in the color mixing system. Bright white light comprises all the colors.

Additive color does not predict the appearance of mixtures of printed color inks, dye layers in color photographs, or paint mixtures.
