You might have heard before that mixing all of the colors will produce white. However if you ever tried this with colored pencils or paint you most likely got a muddy color which resembles black way more than it resembles white.
This is because pigments which are found in your colored pencils and paints and lights from the sun or your computer screen behave very differently.
